Job summary

A leading financial services firm is seeking an Accounts Executive to assist in the preparation of financial analyses for Group financial statements and business plans. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting along with 1-2 years of experience in an accounting-related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. This is a full-time, fully on-site position based at Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• 1-2 years of working experience in accounting-related field preferred.
• Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

Job description

Accounts Executive (Financial Analysis, Group Finance)

To assist in preparation of financial analysis in relation to Group financial statements for annual general meeting.

To assist in preparation of Group business plan which comprises of key financial reports and financial analysis.

To liaise with divisional finance teams to collate and compile the financial data in preparation of Group business plan.

To assist in preparation of reports and other information for management on ad-hoc basis.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must have minimum Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• Applicants with minimum 1-2 years of working experience in accounting-related field will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical and proactive problem-solver, as well as able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Full-time position is available to be based at Menara Hap Seng, KL.
