Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end closing activities for accurate financial reporting.
• Support preparation and processing of sales invoices in Accounts Receivable.
• Maintain consistency and compliance in recording purchase invoices in Accounts Payable.
• Help complete monthly reconciliations, matching invoices with payments.
• Provide support for General Ledger maintenance under supervision.
• Assist in preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Support preparation of financial statements ensuring accuracy.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist in month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support the preparation and processing of sales invoices (Accounts Receivable), ensuring proper and timely data entry.
• Assist in recording purchase invoices (Accounts Payable) accurately and promptly, maintaining consistency and compliance.
• Help with monthly reconciliation tasks, including matching invoices with payments and identifying any variances.
• Provide support in General Ledger (GL) maintenance, including data entry, verification, and adjustments under supervision.
• Assist in preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments as part of the month-end process.
• Support the preparation of financial statements such as profit and loss reports and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Minimum CAT / Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent

Fresh graduate or preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting position.

Strong in financial reporting and monthly closing processes

Good command of analytical and mathematical skills

Meticulous with excellent time management and organizational skills

Independent, responsible, and a strong team player with a positive attitude

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English
