Job summary

A company in the building and engineering sector is seeking an Account Executive & Account Receivable (Credit Control) to manage full sets of accounts, payroll, and liaise with various parties including auditors. Applicants must have at least a diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy, proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, along with skills in accounting software and Microsoft applications. This position requires independent work and exceptional communication skills.

Job description

We are looking for a Account Executive & Account Receivable (Credit Control) to join our team. Company was established to penetrate the Building Facilities Maintenance and Civil & Mechanical Engineering Maintenance.

Job Description
  • Responsible for preparation of full set of accounts and ensure that all transaction are up to date.
  • Prepare Payment Vouchers and check timely payments.
  • Prepare Sales Invoice & Delivery Orders (DO) in Accounting Systems & Excel Formats.
  • Perform matching on Purchase Orders (PO) and Statements of Account (SOA) in Accounting Systems & Excel Formats.
  • Prepare EA forms and submitting E-Forms to LHDN and maintain all personnel information.
  • Administer monthly payroll including overtime, allowances, claims, EPF and SOCSO.
  • Handle site staff Petty Cash fund and maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, account payables and receivables.
  • Liaise with third party such Auditors, Company secretaries, Bank, LHDN or any relevant parties.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of documentations and goods filing system to support all accounting record.
  • To perform any other ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the management.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • Knowledge of accounting software.
  • Good literacy in using Microsoft Word & Excel application.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines, able to multi-task with minimum supervision and capability to work independently.
