Job summary

A leading property management company in Penang is seeking a finance executive to support their managed buildings. The role involves handling financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should have a degree in Accountancy and 2-4 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include liaising with auditors, attending meetings, and preparing full accounts for managed portfolios. The candidate must possess their own transport and be willing to travel to Georgetown.

Qualifications

  • Able to handle AR, AP, General Ledger, Reconciliation and Full sets of accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the full sets of accounts for the portfolio managed building.
  • Liaise with auditor and tax agent on audit and tax issues.
  • Attend monthly or ad-hoc meeting at managed building to explain financial situations.
  • Attend AGM or EGM for stratified buildings.
  • Set up and take over accounting matters for new portfolio sites.

Job description

You will be supporting our managed building in the HQ level on all finance related matters in the Property Management division.

Ensures the accurate and timely creation of accounts and processing of financial transactions for all managed building

Ensures efficient and effective accounting operations and flow of financial information

Ensures funds are properly received and disbursed by implementing and auditing procedures for effective control and timely collections and payments.

Analyzes and reviews financial data for managed building include budgetary control, prepares financial statements and reports for internal and external purposes and provides resolutions to a diverse range of problems

Responsibilities at Site Offices / Team
  • Prepare the full sets of accounts for the portfolio managed building if there is no site finance executive
  • Liaise with auditor and tax agent on the audit and tax issue respectively to ensure compliance to Accounting Standard and Tax requirement include the dateline of submission.
  • Attend monthly or ad-hoc meeting at managed building and explain to clients on financial situation.
  • Attend AGM or EGM for those stratified buildings.
  • Setting up and taking over accounting matters for new portfolio site
