Job summary

A financial services company in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Finance Manager to control end-to-end financial processes. The ideal candidate will manage bookkeeping, prepare financial reports, and liaise with auditors. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy, along with 5-8 years of experience, is required. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AUTOCOUNT System are preferred, while knowledge of Mandarin and Malay is an added advantage. Immediate starters are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end financial processes including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide operational reports to management.

Job description

Control and manages end-to-end financial processes (account payable, account receivable, bank reconciliation, depreciation provision, P&L, balance sheet and etc.)

Ensure bookkeeping entries are updated, accurate and maintained at all time in the system.

Provide and interpret the monthly and yearly financial information and operating reports to the Management

Able to liaise with external auditor, tax consultant, banker and etc.

To support various functional activities at group level.

Working closely with CEO to plan and control the company’s cash flow, funding and budget allocation

Able to liaise with suppliers in invoice discrepancies.

Professionally communicate with client for outstanding payment.

Constantly identify and propose improvement area as needed.

Perform other related ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Director from time to time.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent job experiences.

At least 5 to 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required skill(s): Well-versed in MS office (Word & Excel), relevant accounting software and knowledge of AUTOCOUNT System are added advantage.

Proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Mandarin and Malay is an added advantage.

Independent, adaptable and able to multi-task to meet deadlines.

Able to start work immediately more advanced.
