Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team operating a petrol service station and petrol mart in Ipoh, Perak. As a key member of our Accounting department, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial and administrative tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records and processes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle full set accounts independently, accurately & reliably.
  • Perform AR/AP/GL for all daily transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger records.
  • Check daily sales report and bank receipts.
  • Reconciling bank statements and prepare bank cash flow ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
  • Prepare timely financial reports and financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the account team as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good personality and communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Relevant Accounts Officer/Clerk qualifications or certifications.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents for bookkeeping.
  • Minimum Higher Diploma in Accounting / Degree in major accounting and related fields.
  • 3 years of relevant working experience preferred (fresh graduates considered).
  • Experience in preparing full set of accounts for petrol service station dealer business added advantage.
