A financial services company in Malaysia, Penang is looking for a finance manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage accounts, ensure tax compliance, and coordinate audits. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and manage the full set of accounts.
  • Manage overdue accounts and produce and monitor aging reports.
  • Control and monitor company assets.
  • Manage the filing of regular tax returns and handle corporate tax reports.
  • Assist in establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
  • Coordinate and support audits.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders for financial year-end reporting.
  • Perform finance-related duties as required.

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and manage the full set of accounts (including GL, AP, AR, financial statements) as well as invoicing, collections, and cash application.
  • Manage overdue accounts and produce and monitor aging reports.
  • Control and monitor company assets.
  • Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, e-invoicing, SST, and other direct or indirect taxes.
  • Handle corporate tax and other tax-related reports.
  • Assist in establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies; identify and address any areas of concern.
  • Coordinate and support audits.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and stakeholders for financial year-end closing and reporting.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as required.
