A health consultancy firm in Malaysia is looking for an accounting assistant to manage payment processes and update accounting records. Ideal candidates are fresh graduates or those with relevant experience, holding an SPM, A Levels, or Diploma. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.   • Assist the supervisor in managing the payment process and controls as stipulated in the ISO 9001.
  • Update accounting entry records in project accounting software.
  • File accounting records.
  • Perform monthly banks reconciliation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the supervisor in managing the payment process and controls as stipulated in the ISO 9001
  • Update accounting entry records, i.e. AR and AP in project accounting software
  • Update staff leave form application into payroll software
  • Announce leave taken for the day
  • Create new project coding in project accounting software
  • Prepare the service tax submission to the Customs before deadline
  • Ensure all the AP and AR records are in place
  • File accounting records
  • Perform monthly banks reconciliation
  • Liaise with agency and immigration on expatriate(s) employment permit
  • Arrange and monitor appointment with candidate(s) for interviews
Requirements
  • Fresh graduates or 2 years of relevant experience
  • SPM, A Levels or Diploma holder
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office
