A financial services company in Malaysia is seeking an accounting clerk to manage day-to-day accounting transactions, liaise with relevant stakeholders, and support general accounting tasks. Candidates should have at least an SPM/Diploma in Accounting, though fresh graduates and those with or without experience are welcome to apply. Strong organizational skills and an understanding of accounting concepts are essential. This role presents a great opportunity for entry-level professionals to start their career in finance.
Perform the day-to-day processing of accounting transactions in a timely manner;
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth billing and collection processes;
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies;
Assist in general accounting tasks and support the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department;
Maintain proper documentation and filing to support all accounting entries and ensure audit readiness;
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed;
Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Candidate with minimum SPM/Diploma in Accounting;
With/without working experience/fresh graduate in the related field are encouraged to apply;
Ability to prioritize work, well organized and good coordination;
Candidate with relevant experiences will be advantage;
Entry-level understanding of accounting concepts.
