Job summary

A leading Malaysian company is seeking an Accounts & Admin Executive for its Kuala Lumpur office. The successful candidate will manage the full spectrum of bookkeeping, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and maintain accurate financial records. Candidates should possess a diploma in accounting and at least three years of experience in managing accounts and financial statements. This role also involves preparing financial reports and assisting during audits, making strong analytical skills essential.

Accounts & Admin Executive (Based In KL City Centre)

Manage full spectrum of bookkeeping including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), payment processing, claims, and monthly reconciliations up to preparation of financial statements.

Managing the Accounts Payable process, including invoice verification, payment preparation, and submission.

Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure timely filing of all relevant documents.

Coordinate with auditors during the audit process to ensure financial records are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.

Handling a wide range of administrative tasks, including document processing, data entry, and maintaining office organization.

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.

Handling administrative duties such as filing, data entry, correspondence and general office support.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting or a relevant qualification.

A minimum of 3 years' working experience in handling full set of accounts, management accounts, month end closings, bank reconciliations, and preparing the relevant documents needed.

Able to process invoices, quotations, credit notes, and debit notes accurately and in a timely manner.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
