Role Summary
The Accounting Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial health, compliance, and strategic growth of our diversified digital and fintech group. This position is responsible for managing all core financial operations—including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance—across both our digital solutions business and our fintech subsidiary.
The Accounting Manager will partner closely with CFO/Director to provide data-driven insights that support decision-making, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. This role also ensures strong financial governance in line with industry best practices, including adherence to financial regulations relevant to IT services and blockchain/fintech operations.
As we continue to expand locally and internationally, the Accounting Manager will help build scalable financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, cross-border operations, and potential fundraising or investment activities.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis to monitor performance and identify trends.
- Provide strategic financial insights to management, enabling data-driven decisions.
- Evaluate financial impact of new business initiatives, digital projects, and fintech product launches.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and consolidated accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and any fintech-related reporting requirements.
- Work with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audits and filings.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory frameworks.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow planning, liquidity monitoring, and working capital optimization.
- Oversee banking relationships, payment approvals, and treasury operations.
- Establish controls for crypto-related financial flows if aligned with the fintech subsidiary’s operations (e.g., fiat-crypto settlements).
Cost Management & Operational Efficiency
- Monitor operating costs, project profitability, and margin performance across digital and fintech divisions.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accountability.
- Support procurement processes and vendor financial assessments.
Risk Management
- Identify financial and operational risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with fintech regulations (if applicable) related to AML, KYC, and financial governance.
- Safeguard company assets through strong financial control mechanisms.
Strategic Support
- Support senior leadership in corporate planning, organizational expansion, and cross-border operations.
- Provide financial modeling for investments, partnerships, M&A opportunities, and fundraising (if applicable).
- Contribute to pricing strategy for digital services, software solutions, and fintech offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role, ideally with exposure to regional or international operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including formulas, functions, pivot tables/charts, XLOOKUP) and strong skills in PowerPoint, financial modeling, and data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SQL-based systems) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of fintech, blockchain, or digital business models is a significant advantage.
- Prior experience in technology, digital solutions, SaaS, or fintech sectors is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication abilities, including the capacity to collaborate with teams across different countries and cultures, and strong presentation/charting skills to clearly explain data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of local regulatory compliance, taxation, and audit processes.
- Knowledge of blockchain or crypto accounting concepts (beneficial but not mandatory).
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop members of the account team.
