Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in handling full set of accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and audit processes is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount).
  • Good command of English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (written & spoken).
  • High level of commitment towards deadlines, responsibility and detail-oriented.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (MFRS) and company policies.
  • Prepare budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial analysis and establish effective tax planning.
  • Preparation of all tax matters, including SST and corporate tax submissions in timely manner.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to ensure full compliance with Malaysian regulations and keep updated with latest tax and regulatory.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of growth.
  • Any ad hoc task assigned by superior.
