We are looking for a reliable and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s full set of accounts using the SQL Accounting System. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with Malaysian statutory and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Handle and review full set of accounts using SQL Accounting System

Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports

Ensure compliance with MFRS / MPERS, SST, and income tax requirements

Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary

Review journal entries, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations

Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

Improve accounting processes and internal controls

Supervise and guide accounting staff

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an advantage

Minimum 5 years working experience in accounting, including managerial role

Hands-on experience with SQL Accounting System is mandatory

Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills

Experience in manufacturing / trading / SME environment

Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia

Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage
