The Accounting Assistant Manager will oversee and manage the Record-to-Report (RTR) processes within the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Description
  • Develop, track, analyze, and report Regional Accounting Hub performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and project delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets. Proactively identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities, and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Manage and deliver Hub initiatives and assignments in line with defined objectives and deadlines.
  • Provide operational support, subject‑matter expertise, and coaching to Hub teams on processes, performance management, and project‑related matters.
  • Oversee Hub budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting activities, including budget preparation for review and approval, variance analysis, and monthly financial monitoring in coordination with RTR and PTP towers. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper reconciliation of supporting documentation.
  • Partner with Tower teams to monitor and optimize resource utilization through regular tracking, reporting, and follow‑up on outstanding issues or actions.
  • Proactively manage and support Country Change Requests (CCR), ensuring smooth development, transition, and stabilization of activities into the Hub.
  • Manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) recharging for Hub activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SLA requirements, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure full cost recovery and acceptance.
  • Support and follow up on new activity transitions and continuous improvement initiatives by engaging relevant stakeholders, including shared services, country teams, and external partners.
  • Ensure timely maintenance, compliance, and governance of SLA and CCR documentation, including required approvals and sign‑offs.
  • Monitor and maintain Hub policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent professional qualifications or relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, actively engage with team members, and share knowledge to support team objectives.
  • Experience supervising and managing team members at cluster or country level.
  • Proven ability to manage and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within a finance function.
  • Track record of 2-5 years in performance management, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and driving improvement initiatives.
  • Hands‑on experience in recruitment activities, including interviewing and hiring decision‑making.
