Job summary

A Malaysian creative food company based in Johor Bahru is looking for a diligent Accountant to manage the full financial spectrum, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance with regulations. The position offers a strict work-life balance with no expected overtime, strictly Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience in Malaysia or Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle including month-end closing.
• Prepare financial statements compliant with Malaysian standards.
• Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Income Tax Act and SST requirements.
• Oversee statutory contributions and support for audits.
