Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy with professional qualification, i.e. CPA or ACCA.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of Companies Act 2016, accounting standards and tax legislation, including MFRS and Income Tax Act.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, sales analysis and any other reports whenever required.
  • Prepare tax return, tax estimate and withholding tax.
  • Prepare and analysis budgets and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Assist in compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations, including tax reporting and financial audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Provide support to other departments, such as sales and operations, in financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as bankers, auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.
  • Perform adhoc tasks and projects as assigned (e.g. new application for banking facilities, if any).
  • Report to Head of Group Accounts and Finance.
