Job description

Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Accounting, Financial Management or other relevant accounting majors; candidates with junior accounting title or above, or those preparing for/ holding CPA/ ACCA certificates are preferred.

2. Fluent in both Chinese and English in listening, speaking, reading and writing, able to prepare financial vouchers, statements and conduct daily work communication in both languages proficiently.

3. 2-5 years of working experience as general ledger accountant or cost accountant, priority will be given to candidates with manufacturing industry experience; basic understanding of Malaysian financial and taxation norms and familiar with import & export bookkeeping is a plus.

4. Proficient in financial software operation, skilled in full-cycle bookkeeping and master cost accounting methods, with high data sensitivity, able to independently complete accounting and financial statement preparation.

Responsibility

1. Responsible for the factory’s daily full-cycle bookkeeping, including voucher preparation, account registration, reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable, expense accumulation and cost carry-over, ensure accurate and timely accounting in line with Malaysian accounting standards and financial & taxation norms.

2. Assist the finance manager to prepare bilingual (Chinese & English) financial statements and tax returns, complete monthly/quarterly/annual tax declarations including sales tax (SST) and income tax on time, sort out and file tax-related vouchers.

3. Undertake the factory’s cost accounting work, follow up the full process of cosmetic glass bottle production (raw material warehousing, production consumption, finished product delivery), accurately collect production costs, verify cost data and provide basic data for cost analysis.

4. Be in charge of asset inventory work, conduct regular inventory and verification of the factory’s fixed assets, raw materials and finished goods, prepare inventory reports to ensure consistency between book balance and physical inventory.

5. Sort out and file financial vouchers, statements, contracts and other relevant documents, establish and improve the financial file management system, cooperate with internal and external audits, customs inspections and financial verification work.

6. Assist the finance manager in fund management, verify bank statements, prepare daily/ monthly fund reports, follow up procurement payment and accounts receivable collection; assist in salary calculation work.

7. Implement the factory’s financial management systems, cooperate with the implementation of internal control processes, timely feedback abnormal problems in bookkeeping and assist in optimizing financial work processes.
