Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking an Accounting professional to manage general ledger accounting, prepare tax filings, and coordinate daily financial matters. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cost management. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to liaise with various departments, ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks and adherence to statutory requirements. You will also support audits and internal control improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounting, timely completion of monthly and annual closing.
  • Proficient in preparing and recording sales and purchase invoices in compliance with policies.
  • Strong understanding of taxation and experience managing tax obligations and audits.

Job description
Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Perform general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounting, including preparation, review, and posting of accounting vouchers, and ensure timely completion of monthly and annual closing.
  • Prepare, issue, and record sales invoices, purchase invoices, and other accounting documents in compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  • Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable processing, account reconciliation, and balance sheet clearing.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and management reports, and conduct basic financial analysis to support operational and management decisions.
Cost Accounting & Cost Management
  • Establish and implement a product cost accounting system aligned with the company’s production characteristics.
  • Accurately collect, allocate, and analyze production costs.
  • Monitor cost fluctuations and provide reliable cost data to support pricing strategies and operational decisions.
Taxation Management
  • Calculate, file, and settle all applicable taxes in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Conduct reasonable tax planning to mitigate tax risks.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and support tax audits and inspections as required.
Asset & Process Management
  • Manage accounting records for fixed assets and other long-term assets; participate in inventory and asset counts.
  • Assist in improving internal control procedures, maintain proper accounting documentation, and support internal and external audits.
Coordination
  • Coordinate daily financial matters with business and operational departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
