Job description

Lead the accounting team in performing daily accounting operations and managing month-end closing activities to ensure timely issuance of cost reports, incorporating key financial and non-financial KPIs.

Guide the management accounting team in the preparation and delivery of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Prepare and analyze monthly product and production costing.

Implement and promote compliance with established processes and procedures related to annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Profit & Loss statements, budgets, cash flow statements, variance analysis, and management commentaries.

Ensure appropriate evaluation, review, and approval of capital expenditure (CAPEX) in line with company policies.

Monitor and promote compliance with fixed asset policies across all business units.

Provide financial advice and analysis on the financial impact of business decisions, including operational changes and capital investment or funding options.

Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements to mitigate legal and financial risks.

Assist the Managing Director / General Manager in conducting feasibility studies and financial evaluations of new and ongoing projects.

Assist in the preparation and coordination of statutory and internal audits, and liaise with external auditors for finalization of statutory accounts.

Liaise with tax agents and consultants on company taxation matters, including filings and assessments.

Coordinate and manage company insurance matters, including renewals and claims.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance

Experience & Skills

Minimum 3 years of experience in management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to handle and analyze a complete set of accounts

Proficient in accounting software / ERP systems and MS Excel

Sound knowledge of local, state, and federal accounting, finance, and taxation laws
