Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accounting professional to manage the company’s full set of accounts and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements. The role involves preparing accurate financial statements and management reports, monitoring cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as collaborating with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of management reports and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Manage and review taxation matters, audit schedules, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Work closely with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Supervise and guide junior finance team members (if any).
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior or executive role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and MS Excel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Those with experience in electronic invoice operation (E-invoice) and financial management are preferred.
