Practical Fueling Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our finance team in Rawang/Puncak Alam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the company’s financial health, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Bank Reconciliation.
- Process monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS), and payroll reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit and Loss, balance sheets, cash flow reports).
- Review and manage financial forecasts, including managing expenses and ensuring cost control.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax submissions (SST, income tax), audit, and other financial regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records for internal control and audit readiness.
- Manage issuance and records of purchase orders and monitor timely payments and receivables.
- Support implementation and improvement of accounting systems and internal controls.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions to ensure cost control and financial alignment.
- Ensure the accuracy of journal entries and financial transactions.
- Lead or support year-end closing and annual audit processes.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and auditing.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Ability to speak Mandarin or other Chinese dialects is an added advantage, as the role requires communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
