Overview

You’ll create impact by driving regional sales growth, forecasting and data management, market analysis, and strategic customer engagement within the Siemens ecosystem. This role involves end-to-end tender participation, commercial negotiation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Driving Regional Sales Growth: Planning and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, with a core focus on increasing Siemens\' market share and revenue across diverse sales channels.
  • Sales Forecasting & Data Management: Determining sales volumes and potential for all regional customers while leveraging CRM tools to maintain accurate data and pipeline visibility.
  • Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Analyzing regional market conditions and building a robust stakeholder network to uncover and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Strategic Customer Engagement: Actively initiating new customer contacts and nurturing long-term, meaningful relationships within the existing portfolio to ensure sustained business growth.
  • Proposal & Tender Excellence: Managing end-to-end tender participation, including the development of comprehensive engineering documentation (Schematics, BOMs, ECNs, and Work Instructions) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial Negotiation & Contract Closure: Leading commercial negotiations during tender reviews, ensuring a thorough understanding of contract terms and pricing to secure successful sales closures.
Qualifications
  • Emerging Sales Professional: An early-career individual with 2+ years of experience in general sales. We are looking for someone fresh and energetic who is eager to be guided and mentored within the Siemens ecosystem.
  • Technical Background (Value Add): Exposure in Electrification, Automation, Digitalization, or M&E scopes of work is highly regarded, especially for those looking to apply their technical knowledge to a career in sales.
  • Regional Focus & Mobility: Familiarity with the Klang Valley and East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak) markets. You are someone who enjoys being on the move, as this role requires spending 50% of your time on-site and meeting clients.
  • Strategic Foundation: Prior experience in Customer Service sales or the successful completion of a Management Trainee program is considered a significant advantage.
  • Collaborative & Agile Communicator: A self-motivated team player who excels in cross-functional collaboration and is ready to develop the commercial acumen needed to navigate complex contract terms.
