Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Account Manager to manage all aspects of account matters.

Job Description

  • Monitor and guide the accounting team in their daily accounting activities.
  • Provide guidance on complex financial issues.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and manage cash flow.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties when necessary, such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and others.
  • Ensure accounting matters comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Screen employment candidates and conduct interviews.
  • Report on actual financial performance against budget and previous years, explaining variances with facts and figures.
  • Review and analyze monthly management accounts, ensuring monthly management reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure fund availability for payments and expenditures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Attend monthly meetings and present financial reports.
  • Build relationships with clients to ensure project success.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales goals and value-creating objectives.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, problem-solving, urgency, and decision-making skills.
  • Mentor Account Executives and the account team to ensure their accounting and analysis duties are performed effectively.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Ensure every expense is properly documented.
  • Ensure the books of accounts are completed at the end of each month.
  • Ensure the books of accounts are compiled at the end of each financial year.
  • Supervise financial transaction processes and reporting, planning, communicating, leading, and serving.
