Job summary

A leading software company is looking for an Account Executive in Kuala Lumpur to serve as the primary contact for customer account management. The role involves building strong client relationships, negotiating contracts, preparing solution proposals, and ensuring timely delivery of services. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant experience and a business degree, coupled with good problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of the Netsuite system is a plus.

About the job Account Executive - Malaysia

Job Description:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Preparing solution proposals for customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Identify and maintain customer reference ability within the assigned account list.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Min 2 to 3 years sales or account management experience (Plus if worked in software company).
  • Possess a business degree (Marketing / Communications / IT / Business Administration).
  • Good business acumen and communication skills.
  • Plus if familiar with Netsuite system (eg. Accounting, CRM etc.).
  • Able to work independently and good problem solver.
