Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must be able to handle the full set of accounts, manage daily accounting operations, liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring.
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, company secretary, tax agents, and relevant external parties.
  • Maintain proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping for audit and internal control purposes.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing processes.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience handling full set of accounts.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, or equivalent).
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with bankers and external parties.
  • High level of accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
