Job summary

A company in Malaysia is looking for a candidate to manage accounts and perform financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing full sets of accounts, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and conducting reconciliations. Ideal candidates should have at least SPM/Diploma/Degree and 1-2 years of experience, with proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese considered an advantage. This role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Applications are encouraged from fresh graduates with a keen interest in marketing.

Job description
Overview

To ensure timely submission and responsibility in preparation of full sets of accounts, monthly financial reporting, monthly management accounts, maintenance of bank accounts, bank clearing and journal entries. To monitor monthly Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, handle General Ledger functions and monthly bank reconciliation. Posting journal entries and finalizing accounts, checking and maintain of all financial ledgers. Responsible for bank & account reconciliations. Undertake treasury and cash flows management functions. Coordinate and complete year-end audits and tax submissions. Perform periodic review on accounting controls in maintaining accuracy and reliability of data in compliance with legal and statutory requirements. Liaise with external 3rd parties, e.g. auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary, suppliers, and all related governmental agencies. Responsible for day-to-day office administrative matters, e.g. office procurements, office maintenance & cleanliness, utilities & parking bills.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma / Degree or equivalent qualifications. Preferably with a minimum of 1–2 years of working experience.
  • Ability to speak in Mandarin/Cantonese will be an added advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in AP and/or AR will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably candidate residing in Puchong and/or willing to work at Taman Perindustrian Pusat Bandar Puchong.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
