Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled accounts payable administrator to manage invoice verification and ensure compliance with accounts payable processes. You'll be responsible for monitoring payments, resolving discrepancies, and communicating with customers. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in accounting and at least 2 years of experience in accounting roles. Strong organization and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required for this position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Administer, design and ensure compliance with accounts payable processes.
  • Invoice processing, research, and entry.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Monitor accounts for up-to-date payments.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Prepare daily receivable deposits.
  • Assist collections to verify status of delinquent accounts.
  • Provide support to accounting groups as needed.

Job description

You will administer, design and ensure compliance with accounts payable processes including invoice verification, verification that goods and services purchased have been received, payment authorization and processing, reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers to identify improper charges, validate transactions, and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due.

  3. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  4. Resolve invoice discrepancies.
  5. Prepare daily receivable deposits.
  6. Assists collections to verify status of delinquent accounts.

What You Need to Succeed

  2. At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or general accounting.
