A retail chain in Malaysia is seeking an experienced individual for general ledger management, accounts payable, and audit support. The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in Finance or Accounting, with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills, along with excellent communication abilities, are essential. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate financial operations.
Perform comprehensive monthly general ledger bookkeeping activities.
Take responsibility for all monthly administrative expenses’ payable functions.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all liabilities are accurately accrued in the books on a timely basis for month‑end closing.
Serve as the primary finance contact, liaising effectively with business operations key stakeholders regarding all finance and accounting‑related matters.
Prepare detailed annual auditing schedules and serve as a key support person during the external audit process.
Must possess at least a Diploma in Finance / Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
A minimum of 3–5 years of working experience in a related accounting or finance field is required.
Proficiency in accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Good command in English. Meticulous, organized, and possesses strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments.
