Job summary

A financial services firm in Port Klang is seeking an Accounts Assistant to assist with daily accounting tasks including AP and AR transactions. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Finance or Accountancy and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations and experience in manufacturing environments are advantageous. Immediate starters are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting tasks such as data entry, filing, and document checking.
• Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and official receipts.
• Assist in month‑end closing and bank reconciliation.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documents.
• Support the Account & Finance team in any ad‑hoc tasks assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proactive communication style and team‑oriented mindset.
• Experience with accounting systems.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with system implementation projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to identify and highlight financial/operational improvements.
• Able to start work immediately will be considered.
• Know Mandarin was more advantage.
