Job description

Act as independent checker for accounting transactions posted by: Accounts Payable (supplier invoices, payments, PO, GRN) and General Ledger (journals, accruals, bank entries)

Manage payroll: Payroll processing and statutory submissions, ensuring compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB regulations.

Bank Reconciliations: Facilitate monthly bank reconciliations by managing bank statements and uploads, ensuring financial accuracy across departments.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team (AR, AP, GL) providing guidance and support for their professional growth.

Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submission of month-end and year-end close activities.

Audit and Tax Support: Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations for year-end audit. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities during audit and statutory reviews. Assist in preparation and submission ofb>Form E, CP8D, Form EA and related statutory filings.

Requirements

Educational Background: Candidates with a Degree in Accounting, bringing a strong foundation in financial principles.

Professional Experience: Ideally, 3 to 4 years of experience in handling full set accounts.

Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia, and English.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL Accounting Software.

Personal Qualities: High initiative, detail-oriented individual who thrives in meeting tight deadlines and delivering accurate results.
