A local company in Malaysia is looking for an experienced finance/accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Candidates should have a diploma in finance and at least 3 years of experience. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Handle full set accounts using Emas / MySQL system and apply general costing basics.
  • Arrange monthly agent commissions and incentive payments; prepare agent CP58 annually.
  • Review debtors aging and manage credit control.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Review all invoices and documentation for approvals prior to payment.
  • Prepare general ledger, management accounts, and reports on a timely basis for management review.
  • Prepare accurate Final Accounts for audit and for tax submission purposes.
  • Maintain a proper and organized filing system; ensure all documentation is up to date and filed.
  • Ensure company policies and controls are implemented and in place at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Superior/Management.
  • Liaise with tax agents, auditors, company secretary, bankers and government authorities; respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle cashflow and treasury management including forecasts.
  • Tax planning, filing, and compliance.
Job Requirement
  • Certificate/Diploma in Finance/Accounting, Business Studies, Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work independently in a changing and multitasking environment.
