Job description

As an Account Executive (Cost Accounting) is responsible for supporting the company’s financial and operational performance through accurate cost analysis, inventory valuation, and budgeting support. This role works closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to gather cost-related data and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The position also requires frequent communication with the China team; therefore, proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze cost data to support management in budgeting, pricing decisions, profitability evaluation, and inventory valuation.
  • Assist in month‑end closing activities related to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  • Conduct cost analysis on raw materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead.
  • Review manufacturing processes and provide recommendations for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse departments to collect and validate cost information.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Support audit activities by preparing cost‑related documentation and providing required explanations.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the superior or management.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English to support frequent interactions with the China team.
