Job summary

A financial services firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Account Associate to assist in managing daily financial operations. Job description

Assist the Senior account associate in managing day-to-day finance operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and basic reconciliations.

Support the preparation of monthly financial and management reports to ensure accuracy and timely submission.

Maintain proper documentation of financial records and ensure all entries are accurately recorded in the accounting system.

Help prepare full sets of accounts under supervision, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Draft unaudited financial statements for review by the senior account associate.

Monitor and track cash flow activities and assist in basic treasury-related tasks.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.

Mandarin speaking is required to support the China market.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and interacting with internal stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.

This is a permanent position requiring a minimum commitment of 18 months.
