We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to handle a full set of accounts, from daily data entry to preparation of complete financial statements. This role supports month-end and year-end closing and ensures accurate financial reporting.

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to handle a full set of accounts, from daily data entry to preparation of complete financial statements. This role supports month-end and year-end closing and ensures accurate financial reporting.
What You’ll Do
- Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations
- Perform daily accounting data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
- Prepare monthly & yearly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement)
- Prepare supporting schedules and notes for management reporting, audit, and tax purposes
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
- Assist in audit, tax, and statutory submissions
- Monitor expenses, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Support cash flow monitoring
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal departments
- Keep reporting manager updated on work progress, issues, and deadlines
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 1–2 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SAP, SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS tools
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and well-organized
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Added Advantage
- Familiar with SST and WHT submissions
- Basic knowledge of audit process and tax treatments
- Tech-savvy, with strong interest in improving work efficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Experience in preparing management reports and presentations
- Proactive in keeping reporting manager updated on work status
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Exposure to automation tools, system integration, or workflow improvements
- Comfortable using AI tools to support reporting, reconciliation, and productivity
- Experience working in SME or group companies environment
