An accounting firm is seeking an experienced individual in Kuala Lumpur to manage a full set of accounts. Responsibilities include handling journal entries, preparing monthly management accounts, and managing Accounts Receivable and Payable. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, at least 3 years of relevant experience in the forwarding/logistics industry, and familiarity with SST submissions and AutoCount accounting system. Strong detail orientation and time management skills are essential for this role.
Handle full set of accounts, including journal entries, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and schedules
Manage Accounts Receivable, including billing, e-Invoicing, collection follow-up, and customer account reconciliation
Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and supplier reconciliation
Prepare and submit SST returns in accordance with regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate accounting records using AutoCount accounting system
Monitor cash flow and maintain proper cash book records
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external parties when required
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies
Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and reference purposes
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by management
