Job Description

The Account Director for the – Enterprise and GLC sector, plays a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy and achieving the revenue targets. This position involves developing strategic sales plans and fostering relationships with key clients to expand the company’s market presence and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate closely with technical support, engineering, and service resources to ensure solution designs align with client business requirements.
  • Work in partnership with the key management team to ensure product success and define the future roadmap.
  • Collaborate with presales and engineering teams to manage and execute Proof of Concept exercises.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth within the-mentioned sectors
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Resolve conflicts and provide prompt solutions to clients.
  • Interface with client’s decision makers, procurement & technical teams to present our product portfolio & architecture, services & engage in customised solution discussions, and address any technical objections.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Prepare budget proposals and manage revenues and expenses.
  • Take ownership of revenue generation by developing new opportunities, managing the pipeline, creating and executing account strategies, and closing enterprise-level deals for new, expansion, and renewal bookings.
  • Conduct on-site and remote customer meetings, including initial pitch presentations and demos with marketing-qualified leads.
  • Conduct standard and custom product demos, and address technical Q&A.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Experience (in the field or in a similar position; requirements for junior, intermediate, senior level)
  • Proven track record in a senior sales position, preferably as a Sales Director or similar role, with experience in the Enterprise sector
  • Proficient in time management and prioritization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  • Enthusiastic and enjoys interacting with customers.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and in challenging situations.
