Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Gelang Patah is seeking an experienced accountant to manage a full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. The ideal candidate will prepare financial statements and assist during audits, requiring a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organizational skills are essential for this role.

  • Maintain full set of accounts: AP, AR, and GL.
  • Prepare and process journal entries.

  • Perform monthly and yearly closing procedures.
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain full set of accounts: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring proper coding and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Perform monthly and yearly closing procedures to ensure timely finalization of accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement) for management review.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external auditors and tax agents during annual audit and tax processes.
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Location: Iparc PTP, Gelang Patah

Working time: Mon-Fri, 8am - 6pm

Key Requirements
  • Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a professional accounting qualification.
  • At least 2-3 years of hands‑on experience managing the full set of accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
