A premier accounting services firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage a diverse portfolio of clients in Singapore and Malaysia. Responsibilities include preparing full sets of accounts, month-end schedules, and GST returns, as well as drafting financial statements and performing tax computations. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accounting or ACCA, be proficient in Xero software, and have excellent communication skills. A proactive, team-oriented attitude is essential for this role.
Manage a portfolio of accounting clients in Singapore and Malaysia
Prepare and maintain full set of accounts for Singapore and Malaysia SME clients
Prepare month-end schedules and pass adjusting entries
Prepare GST returns (Only for SG clients)
Prepare monthly reporting packages for clients
Operate accounting, tax and HR softwares such as Xero, Jaz, Singtax, PayBoy, HR Easily, etc
Liaise with clients, auditors and regulatory authorities
Provide XERO advisor support to the team & client, if need be
Drafting of unaudited financial statements.
Perform tax computation
Perform monthly payroll
Support team members in any other jobs
Perform any ad hoc or admin duties as assigned
Report to Team Lead / Manager
Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent
Good command of English with ability to interact well with internal departments and external clients
Self‑motivated, independent, pro‑active, has great initiative & a team player
Good learning attitude
Good project and time management
Open to technology in adopting applications to perform work efficiently
Ability to work with large data set through software
Preferably minimum 1 year of accounting and Xero accounting software experience
