  • Maintain and update the general ledger.

  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting practices and software updates.
  • Must be able to commute to Kulai, Johor.
Responsibilities
  • Handle the full set of accounts payable and accounts receivable using Sage UBS accounting software.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Process daily accounting tasks, such as voucher entry, payments, and collections.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, including Sales and Service Tax (SST) and income tax, using BRASSTAX software.
  • Assist with audit activities by providing necessary documents and information, and communicate with auditors.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all account balances accurately reflect the company's financial position.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by superiors.
