We are seeking an experienced Account Assistant to join the finance team at the SWAN GARDEN RESORT HOTEL (MELAKA). In this full‑time role based in Kota Syahbandar, Melaka, you will provide comprehensive accounting and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the hotel's financial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounts assistant role, ideally within the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as Autocount or IFCA
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
