A financial services company in Johor Bahru is looking for an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts. Responsibilities include preparing accurate financial statements, performing account closing processes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will independently handle financial reporting and implement effective accounting systems, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Full Set of Accounts Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded, classified, and summarized in accordance with standard accounting practices.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts, receivables, and payables to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
Independently manage accounting and management reports, ensuring deadlines are met with minimal supervision.
Performing bank reconciliations and managing cash flow.
Generating and analyzing financial reports and statements.
Providing support in tax preparation and compliance.
Implementing and maintaining effective accounting systems and procedures.
