Job summary

A financial services company based in Johor Bahru is seeking a Data Entry Assistant. The role involves assisting with accounts payable and receivable, preparing payment vouchers and invoices, and maintaining accounting documents. Job description

Assist in data entry for AP (Account Payable) & AR (Account Receivable).

Prepare and update payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and credit notes.

Assist in bank reconciliation and monthly account closing.

Maintain and organize accounting documents (filing, scanning & record keeping).

Support in verifying supplier invoices and checking supporting documents.

Assist in preparing claims, petty cash records, and staff reimbursements.

Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments for accounting matters.

Assist in preparing documents for auditors, tax agents & company secretary.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & accounting software (AutoCount is an advantage).
  • Good attention to detail, time management & willingness to learn.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
