Work you'll do

Deloitte's Audit & Assurance provide audit, accounting and regulatory advice, attest and attest‑related services. Using robust audit tools, resources and methodology, our professionals work closely with clients to deliver high‑quality services and solutions. We also advise clients in areas such as initial public offerings, internal controls, Malaysian and International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP and regulatory compliance. You will work with Audit Assistants to perform a variety of auditing and testing work for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries. As an engagement team leader, you will guide the Assistants and review their work. Assisting the engagement managers in planning and meeting clients to clarify and resolve issues are also expected of you.

• Understand objectives for stakeholders, clients and Deloitte whilst aligning own performance to objectives and sets personal priorities.

Requirements

• You should possess a recognised university degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification.
• Have at least 2-3 years relevant audit experience in a professional practice.
• You should have good communication and people management skills besides the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Audit experience in well established professional services firms will be an added advantage.
