Key Responsibilities:
  • Injection Molding Process Optimization: Develop, improve, and troubleshoot injection molding processes to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Tooling & Equipment Management: Work closely with toolmakers and maintenance teams to ensure molds and injection machines are operating at peak performance.
  • Quality Control & Defect Reduction: Implement and monitor quality control measures to minimize defects such as flash, warpage, and short shots.
  • Material Selection & Processing: Evaluate raw materials (plastics, resins) and ensure the correct processing parameters for each.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase productivity.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose molding defects and provide solutions to production teams.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain process documentation, work instructions, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
