Job summary

Job Description
  • Ensure all records on tooling's utilization, inventory and other related report are updated and proper update of the QADsystem
  • Work closely with production managers, engineers and other PIC to understand tooling requirements and constraints.
  • Assigning jobs to Toolmakers and ensuring that fully support on production needs in place to meet the Planner
    schedule.
  • Analyze existing tooling processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Participate and contribute in cost reduction and productivity programs
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for tooling department and ensure the cost are accurately estimated and controlled
  • To ensure all purchased products conform to specify purchased requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and regularly compare costs from different vendors to ensure
Job Requirement
  • Minimum 3 years experience in handling and incharge of Tooling department
  • Effectively negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee tooling projects and ensure they stay within budget.
  • Good communication, leadership and people-management
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented and able to multi task under pressure and change
