As an Senior Advance Application/System Sales Engineer you will lead the development of comprehensive proposals and quotations for a wide range of aftermarket services and products.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing detailed quotations for required spare parts based on complex customer requests and specific system specifications.
  • Formulating service agreement proposals that clearly define scopes of work, deliverables, and pricing structures tailored to client needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with customers to comprehensively understand their needs and expectations.
  • Staying current with product developments, understanding competitive landscape, and identifying opportunities for system enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to gather critical data and insights for compelling proposals.
  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of a repository of past proposals and templates, ensuring they are readily accessible for future projects.
Qualifications

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field).
  • Have 5-10 years of progressive experience in proposal writing, engineering, sales support, or related roles, showcasing a strong understanding of aftermarket dynamics.
  • Have comprehensive familiarity with aftermarket products and services.
  • Understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and configuration based control system, including application of PLCs and control systems in industrial automation processes and control systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Have strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality solutions.
