Job Description:

Activities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between Supplier, Materials Department, and Distribution Center team.
• Manage material planning for the Distribution Center, including reviewing constraints on materials, deliveries, risk management, and supply chain solutions.
• Oversee material delivery and expediting to ensure completion according to the DC Shipping Plan.
• Follow up on open orders and address past due alignments with suppliers.
• Resolve invoice issues and ensure material waiting times in the warehouse are within acceptable limits.
• Monitor material delivery within the Materials Department.
• Analyze build rate fluctuations for DC materials.
• Coordinate and analyze material forecasts for DC materials using ERP systems.
• Maintain data integrity and alignment within MRP systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Advanced English skills
• At least 3 years of experience as a buyer
• Effective communication skills, acting as the point of contact between Materials & Distribution Center
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Self-directed and capable of decision-making
• Knowledge and familiarity with MRP structure and functionality
• Proven understanding of inventory distribution and product flow
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially formulas and pivot tables, capable of developing tools for data presentation
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle conflicts and facilitate resolutions
• Proactive communication of risks and solutions
