Objective of the Role

As an Engineering Manager at RappiCard, you will lead a technical team to build new features within the Rappi ecosystem. You will manage a cross-functional team, guiding them from ideation to testing and deployment, while remaining involved hands-on from a technical perspective. This role is crucial in our growth and in delivering a game-changing experience for our users and partners.

Activities and Responsibilities

• Focus on strategy and active involvement in execution.
• Develop systems, software architectures, object-oriented programming, web and cloud development.
• Drive technological innovation.
• Ensure best practices and system availability while meeting tight deadlines for mission-critical systems.
• Enhance the quality of the tech team through hiring and coaching.
• Lead the internal software engineering team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with product management, business leaders, external partners, and vendors to support strategic goals.
• Set and meet expectations related to delivery and partner satisfaction.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of change management activities.
• Ensure code is unit tested and bug-free.
• Utilize version control and issue tracking software effectively.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to produce innovative software solutions.
