Job Description

• Conduct meetings with shopfloor personnel and production supervisors to ensure work is properly delegated and deadlines are met.
• Prioritize projects to ensure they stay on schedule.
• Promote safety in all aspects of the manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate activities to fulfill the production schedule per shift, ensuring product quality as per control plan.
• Supervise staff, organize workflows, and monitor manufacturing processes.
• Verify and release production plans according to capacities and available shifts.
• Lead multifunctional teams to achieve KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
• Ensure compliance with Bosch Production System (BPS) standards.

• Lead operations personnel using leadership tools such as coaching, mentoring, and guiding.
• Support deployment of quality basics.
• Assist in headcount planning based on production volume forecasts.
• Manage resources including headcount, overtime, and inventories.
• Monitor daily production levels and quality, ensuring adherence to performance metrics.
• Conduct process confirmations within operations.
• Maintain effective communication among shifts and proper shift changeover procedures.
• Ensure personnel have necessary training and certifications according to competence matrix.
• Approve overtime and support Bosch Production System initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, productivity, machinery uptime, and other KPIs.
• Communicate plant goals, policies, and information effectively.
• Promote safety, quality, and environmental goals.
• Manage production control to prevent excess material on the floor.
• Follow up on Daily Management meetings and LPAs.
• Respond promptly to product audit deviations.
• Ensure team adherence to standardized work and BPS programs.
• Utilize problem-solving tools and quality principles.
• Support Tachinbo practices and standards.
• Monitor Heijunka and DPI standards.
• Oversee production monitoring reports.
• Support material release on hold.
• Lead initiatives for utilization and productivity improvements using PDCA cycles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a similar supervisory position.
• Results-oriented mindset focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Resilient both mentally and physically for daily tasks.
• Knowledge of movement and time management.
• Strong skills in time and resource management, understanding financial aspects.
• Knowledge of ergonomics, APQP, IATF, ISO 14000 standards.
• Proficiency in problem-solving methods (8D, Fishbone, 5Why, 6Sigma, etc.).
• Preventive mindset with data analysis skills.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing.
• Creative and curious to improve manufacturing standards proactively.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships with service departments.
• Supportive in removing roadblocks and engaging others.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams to meet production goals.
• Proficient in English.
• People development skills.
• Knowledge of SAP P72 and P59 systems.
