Job Description:
Develop an E-commerce Category strategy, define the optimal shopper experience (portfolio, layout, siting, space shares) and supporting consistent execution, accelerate the growth of the pet category mainly thru our brands in WM, drive long-term vision for our customers (internally and externally).
Involvement and direct influence with Walmart sales and operations teams, as well as all Mars teams in touch with Walmart (Negotiation, Customer Marketing, Execution), lead the Category Aligned Business and co-creation of Category strategy for WM, quarterly and/or monthly sessions with key stake holders (KAM’s, Customer Marketing and Marketing) in order to discuss the performance of WM and identify key opportunities, continuously visit the customer in order to review Category development and store visits if necessary.
Lead the development of the pet category in Walmart.
Ensure correct implementation of the Perfect Store in Walmart
Implement and help develop the Category Strategy for WM ensuring it reflects the Global Mars Petcare Category Vision.
Maintain WM category captaincy
Ensure to be a top 3rd Supplier in TAS for Category Management, as measured by the TAG TAS.
Provide shopper insights, ongoing reporting & scorecarding, portfolio management, planogramming to Walmart
Ensure compliance with all Mars Inc legal guidelines on Category Management and objectivity
